  1. 1. Introduction. Firstmost, a warm welcome to Mage! Whilst Mage is an overtly content-filled, community driven server, we all have to start somewhere. Some among us have played custom RSPS' before, whilst other's have not, so hopefully this will serve to aid you in starting your journey in Mage. Please do be aware that this is a starter guide and not a mid-game to end-game guide. Within we will explore your first steps, what to aim for, how to acquire specific items, weapons and armor, as well as direct you on the wondrous content that is the superbly rewarding zones, where to start skilling and more. If you are looking for something specific purely by chance, please do make use of your browser's CTRL + F search function to locate specific titles such as the Introduction one above, or by the bullet points marked as 1.,2., etc-. As a quick extra about gamemodes, you may have seen there's a total of four different gamemodes, but not have any idea what they do! To that end, allow me to indulge you. None of the gamemodes innately buff your double drop rate, only ingame modifiers will do such. It's all about what kind of a challenge you would like! Normal ━ The base, smooth experience. Full ability to trade, make use of the POS, albeit without any drop rate bonus. Ironman ━ Inability to trade or form groups with anyone, wholly self sufficient with a 55% base drop rate bonus to help you on your way. Group Ironman ━ Only able to trade with group members, groups can be formed by taking the ladder down at ::home; 50% base drop rate bonus. Elite ━ Just like Ironman, albeit with a higher drop rate bonus (150% base!) and an innate 30% DMG bonus. No longer requires a 50,000 Kill Count! Do be warned however, enemies will also deal 30% more DMG to you. 2.2: The Tutorial. So, you logged into Mage for the first time by having chosen your name, your appearance and your starting game-mode, but what now? It's simple! You may in fact have caught the welcome messages of Moderators, Admins & Helpers alike with the added threads and, more importantly, the ::tut & ::tutc commands. These simple two commands will give you a general direction of your first few moments in Mage. The former, ::tut will teleport you around ::home to teach you the locations of some of the NPC's you will be using throughout your journey, as well as set you up for the starter weapon we'll be aiming for soon enough. ::tutc however will open an interactive tutorial screen and it's respective rewards. These rewards are absolutely worth going for! 2.3: Basic Commands & Information. As unsurprising as it may be, Mage hosts a whole gallery of commands, either to bring you home through the simple ::home command, or to deliver you to a specific zone without having to go through the zones interface, as long as you know of them. Below will be listed a few of the commands we'll be making use of in this guide. A few of these basic commands thusly include; ::home ━ This will deliver you home, as mentioned, smack in the middle of it, in fact. Great for general usage when you need to bank something, visit the upgrade NPC, etc. ::skilling ━ This command will bring you smack-dab into the middle of the skilling zones, Jungle, Blood, Ice and Space- All serving as their own integral tiers in terms of levels. ::pos ━ This command will plant you right in front of the Player Owned Shops NPC to swiftly access the blooming economy and find what you're looking for, whether buying or selling. ::slayer ━ As you can imagine, this command will bring you to the Slayer Statue and it's respective NPC's. Boss of the Day & Boss Shop, as well as Tasks. Using the statue however will bring you to the slayer zone. ::tower ━ This command will bring you to Rick for the Tower minigame & shop which we will discuss below! ::zones ━ This command will open the easy to use zones interface to bring you wherever you'd like to go! ::lance ━ This command will bring you to the Lance minigame NPC (Hells Gatekeeper). ::shops ━ This command will bring you to the General Stores for basic skilling supplies, as well as ticket-exchangers to turn 500M tickets into 1B Tokens. ::ironz ━ For the Ironmen/Elites, this command will bring you to the Ironman zone. Also important to note is that the currency used in Mage is inflated, for Custom means Custom! As simple as can be, Mage works with 1B tokens. For the sake of doing the math for you a little.. 1B = 1B. 1,000B = 1T. 1,000,000B = 1Q / 1,000T. These are the numerals primarily used within Mage, so get acquainted with them! Very few items will fall below the 1T mark, but for the sake of quickly retrieving your cash, make use of the Withdraw X option in your bank. Let's say you want to pull out 5T, you can enter; 5K - The game will add the zero's by itself, thusly letting you grab 5T instead of having to type out 5,000. Minor time savings here, but it matters in the POS too! Another superbly useful addition is the ::WelcomeBack command, which will give you a starter pack that'll hold you over for awhile, but I do recommend working towards an item that won't disappear! All skills go up to 125 and even beyond up to 135 within Mage! 2.4: Ironman Zone. Accessed through the ::ironz command, the Ironman Zone has three separate types of NPC's and three shops respectively for said NPC's. Upon arrival you will be greeted with the three shops, and behind you will be the enemies you'll be fighting. Easy, Hard & Hardcore, each type corresponds to their respective shop, offering a variety of goodies for you to buy ranging from Magic Gems to Pet Boxes, etc! ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 3. Acquiring A Basic Starter Weapon & Armor. With your feet on the ground and a very, very basic understanding of the bare minimum you require to know to really get started, we ought to get you a suitable starter weapon first. The Crystal Katana & Crystal Edge Sword you will obtain from your referral and ::welcomeback package have charges that deplete over time, even though they are absolutely worth using until they disperse forever. To get started, make your way over to ::lance and talk to the Gatekeeper to enter the Training Knights zone where you'll be spending just enough time to acquire upgrades for the Fire Lance you acquired earlier through the tutorial. There is a total of -10- lances, but with the Fire Lance already in your inventory (This is a necessity!) or equipped you may start killing the Training Knights within to earn Hell Points, which can be exchanged with the Hellpuppy NPC found there. Whilst not recommended, should you truly go thousands of kills without ever being able to have RNGJesus bless you with a new lance, the upgrade NPC besides the Hellpuppy NPC will allow you to upgrade to the next tier of lances at a price of the very same Hell Points you may use to purchase the very first decent armor set that'll serve you dutifully, for a while at least. ━ The full set costs you 500 Hell Points! 1 Point is earned per Training Knight kill. What you are looking for here is the Dark Lance & Light Lance respectively. Drop rate modifiers and buffs do not, I repeat, do not help here. Any Lance drop from ::lance is utterly and wholly RNG based, so you may obtain your first upgrade fifty kills in, or two thousand kills in depending on your luck. Take breaks if you need to, or embrace the grind! You will be rewarded for it! Whilst arduous, obtaining the Hellfire Set and the Light Lance, you will be set to start working on your Interdimensional Donut that we will discuss in the next pointer. Firstly however we ought to look into the Hellfire Lance, for it's relatively easy to obtain! The Hellfire Lance is obtained through combining Lucky Ore with a Heaven Stone to create a Lucky Heaven Stone, which you may then use on your Light Lance to upgrade it with a 50% chance into a Hellfire Lance. This can fail, but due to the Lucky Heaven Stone, your Light Lance will -not- disappear, thus allowing you to try again until you succeed. ━ The Hellfire Lance, for showcase purposes with stats. Lucky Ore & Heaven Stones as well as the Lucky Heaven Stone can all be earned through zone task completions, daily attendance, rare drops & players, so there's plenty of avenues to work towards it! ━ Depicted are the Lucky Heaven Stone, Heaven Stone & Lucky Ore respectively! ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 4. Acquiring An Infinite Source of Food. 4.1: The Tower Minigame. The Tower is an easy, relatively quick way to purchase the one and only food item you'll ever need within Mage. Gone are the days of utterly pointless inventory-filling with various food items, for the Interdimensional Donut that you may purchase from Rick for 12,500 Horror Points will never run out and can even be upgraded as denoted below. Thusly, with just one singular, progressive item you can take with you wherever you go, you'll most certainly want to spend some time within the tower, clearing wave upon wave of Rick & Morty NPC's and build up to both the Interdimensional Donut & it's first upgrade which will restore Prayer points just like a Prayer Potion. There's only a few necessities to get started; such being any weapon of your choosing, the ability to Protect Melee or Deflect Melee and the time necessary to earn the Donut. Each wave is progressive, increasing the amount of enemies by a margin, but also increasing points awarded. The Normal Tower holds five waves of enemies, whilst the Endless version holds fifteen waves instead. The former awards 1,500 points per completion and is, for starters, the quickest way to amass the points necessary. Eight full runs will thusly yield enough points to purchase the base Donut whilst the recommended first upgrade, the Holy Grail, costs 20,000 Horror Points. I highly recommend you take some extra time to grab this upgrade, as it will be quite helpful to have. Fourteen runs will be enough to land yourself the Holy Grail, which when purchased can be used on your Donut to upgrade it. 4.2: Tower Shop & Upgrades. As mentioned, the Tower also has it's own respective shop that houses a few specific items. As shown below, these items are all earned through repeat completions of the Tower minigame, Normal or Endless. Once you progress a little further the Endless variant will be the more rewarding option. By far the best choices are the Dimensional Donut and the Holy Grails, for obvious reasons. The Magical Box, Cash Box & Cupcakes are secondary and not really worth going for at this time, so don't spend too much time trying to acquire them, as there are easier, better ways to acquire them. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 5. Custom Skilling. MagePS has a superbly unique skilling system that goes beyond the usual norm set by others. Whereas you'd usually start with bronze tools and work your way up the levels all throughout, Mage will have you start at level 99 through the use of your Experience Lamps. Henceforth, you will be free to level your skills up to level 135, which is certainly an arduous but often rewarding task. Herblore for example will be able to create potions that grant a variety of buffs and other such effects whilst Fishing & Cooking will allow you to both catch and cook Alligator Gars, which we'll be discussing later in the Monster Aggression portion of this guide, but let's just say that most of the skills will yield great rewards and money-making methods when you put time and effort into them. The general tools you'll need to get started with can be found at ::shops as shown below and are sold by the General & Skilling Shop shown right next to my character. More importantly, if you wish to access a specific skilling zone, you are able to head over to your stats tab and just left click the respective skill that you're looking for. Thieving for example will bring you to ::jungle, where you may look for the chests hidden in each corner of the zone to loot. We'll go a little more in depth into this in just a moment, so bear with me! Some of the most valued skills include; Herblore, Thieving, Fishing & Cooking, Prayer and Slayer which we'll be discussing below. The remainder are for you to explore! For the sake of visibility and avoiding confusion, each skill explanation is kept in a spoiler, toggle them open and close them as you please to obtain the information you require! 5.1: Herblore. 5.2: Thieving. 5.3: Fishing & Cooking. 5.4: Prayer. 5.5: Slayer. 6. Zones & their rewards. 6.1: Zone Commands & Explanation. Zones make up the majority of your grinding time in Mage, but for your time spent you'll also be generously rewarded. From progressing your character to making money on the side with rare drops and even earning Donator ranks simply by completion of these zones, you'll definitely want to work your way through the ranks little by little. These can all be accessed with simple to use commands as well, allowing you to avoid the Zones interface if you know about them. Some of these include, but are not limited to; ━ ::Knuckles ━ ::NoFace ━ ::RedEyeCrawler ━ ::MasterChiefClone And so forth. These are the first four zones you'll be accessing, in fact, you should have visited the ::Knuckles zone before! Though, it may be listed as 'Pikachu' instead in the tutorial. Nevertheless, to access the zone interface you may make use of the ::zones command. Within you'll see Zone 1, Zone 2, Uzones, Skilling & Misc. Important to note however is that Skilling & Misc within the Zones tab will teleport you straight to the Skilling & Gambling zones instead of listing all your options. Zone 1 & Zone 2 will be where you spend most of your time, at least until you near endgame and are able to handle the Uzones; the Underwater Zones. These, however, aren't of interest to us yet since they require suitable midgame gear and knowledge to progress through. You'll get there eventually! Each and every zone does have it's own requirements as shown below, each one differing from the last. To access Spirited Away for example, you'll have to complete 1/3th of the Knuckles zone tasks to be able to attack any of the No Face enemies within. As such, you can't rush ahead, but we'll come back to that! Just make sure you take the time to look at the necessary requirements before you try to swing by whichever NPC and find yourself unable to actually do anything against them. 6.2: Zone Rewards. There's an awful lot of rewards that can be earned through an earnest effort put forth into each and every listed zone. The first starter zones for example will offer you Lucky Ore, Heaven Stones, starter cash and even some lesser boxes that are helpful when you're getting started out. As you progress through however, the rewards will increase alongside the difficulty of completing them. Diablo for example, the boss seen in the screenshot above, will reward a Magical Box, 5,000 Donor Points & 2,000 Donor Points for Task 1, Task 2 & Task 3 respectively. The Magical Box houses some useful goodies even for endgame players, whilst the Donor Points can be used either by yourself or sold off on the POS for a heavy sum of cash. It really just depends on what you'd like to do with them, but I would personally recommend you sell these Donor Points. Equally as important is the sheer fact you can obtain free Donator Ranks by completing a series of Zones, allowing you to use the ::bank command upon completing your first 5 Zones, each and every task and thusly unlocking the 10$ rank as a reward. The Forums have a great guide to any and all Donator Benefits, as well as a far deeper guide to what you unlock through Zone Completions, but I will list a few rewards below just to get you started! ━ Extra Drop Rate & Double Drop Rate. ━ Extra Damage for One Handed and Two Handed weapons that you have to do nothing for! ━ HP boosts for more survival. ━ Increase Strength Potion Duration. ━ Damage Reduction. ━ Donator Ranks. As I'm sure you can see, these are absolutely worth going for, and this is all solely from fully completing the zones, not even the rewards you can claim from each respective task for every boss! 7. Custom Slayer & it's rewards. 7.1: Slayer & Rewards. Custom Slayer, it's an absolute blast. There's a metric ton of possible rewards to earn, a fantastic way to earn some extra cash, and better yet, it lets you progress superbly quickly in it's own unique way. With Zones being such an unique addition to Mage, you may at times also find that you haven't actually unlocked the requirements yet for a specific task. Mage, genuinely, has you covered! When you are on a Slayer Task, you may actually teleport to and attack the respective enemy that you haven't even unlocked yet in your ::zones, albeit only for the duration of your task. As such, embarking on a task requiring you to kill Diablo as an example would let you engage him without issue to complete your task. You can make use of the Teleport NPC within this Slayer Cave too, albeit with a requirement for each Slayer Master. The easy one for example requires you to progress either through the Easy achievements, or land yourself the 10$ Donator Rank from zones/donating to have instant access to the Slayer Master without having to run there. Just a time-saver! On the side, for every completion of a task, you will earn Slayer Bones, which are the sole way you are able to level your Prayer beyond level 99 up to level 135. Easy, Medium, Hard & Elite Bones respectively, each worth more than the last if you intend to sell them, or progressively better to use to train Prayer. Whichever your choice, it's either a great way to get a bit of cash on the side, or work towards superbly valuable prayers that will make life just that bit easier in Mage. Alongside these bones, however, you are guaranteed an Easy Slayer Chest Key upon completion of an Easy slayer task, whilst Medium, Hard & Elite only have a 75% chance to award you their respective key. These chests are located right next to their respective Slayer Master, which you can access through the Slayer Statue at ::slayer and following the path as denoted below. Below are the Slayer Masters and their Chests! Please note that you can also use ::loot to preview the chests! 7.2: Boss of the Day & Boss Shop. Beyond just Slayer you can also visit the Boss of the Day NPC and Boss Tasks NPC's that are stood just next to the Mage Slayer Object statue. The Boss of the Day NPC, as you can imagine, is solely for the purpose of viewing what the Boss of the Day is, the current hi-score and your own kill count for said boss. You can also view the Boss Shop through him, the same as with the Boss Tasks NPC. Also important to note is that you will not be required to hit the requirements for the Boss of the Day if you are on it's task, allowing you to participate in the same fashion as any other player! The Boss of the Day also grants double Boss Points to spend in the Boss Shop, but also counts as a double-kill instead of a singular kill, allowing you to quickly build up your kill count for said boss. This, however, does not count towards your Slayer Task or Boss Task! Whilst not all that achievable right out of the gate, reaching the top three for a Boss of the Day you will be rewarded with a Bounty Scroll of the respective boss and 1,000 Donor Points in first place, a Bounty Scroll just as before in second place- And third place is given 500 Donor Points instead. The Boss Task NPC, when interacted with, will open an interface allowing you to select a boss of your choosing, such as Vegeta, Diablo, Rage Vorago, etc- Which will then set you on a task to slay said boss a specific number of times. For the Rage Vorago's for example, you will need to kill 500 of them to earn yourself it's respective Bounty Scroll. These scrolls yield only the same rewards that come from the respective boss' rare drop list, so it's highly recommended to grab one of these tasks if you are intent on farming a specific boss for awhile. These Boss Tasks are completely separate from Slayer Tasks, and thus won't give you any slayer points upon completion, nor any bones or keys and thusly serve solely for grinding out specific loot, as well as the rewards for participating in the daily boss hunt. 8. Basic Money Making & the POS system. 8.1: Basic Money Making. There's a ton of ways to make money in Mage, but today we'll just be discussing a basic few to get you started off and earn yourself some of the items we'll be listing in the Character Progression bullet point, so stick with me! If you do have a preferred way to go about it however, as Thieving for example isn't for everyone, then just scroll on down to find what you're looking to engage in! 8.1.1: Thieving. Thieving is by far the easiest way to work towards a small amount of cash to spend on better armour, weapons, trophies- Etc. Whilst it is also the easiest, it is also simplest, for you will always have access to a rough estimate of how much you can earn per hour, unlike some of the other methods we'll be discussing here. Thieving is also affected by your Donator rank, so the higher in Donator ranks you grow, the more you will earn from Thieving in ::jungle. Roughly, without any Donator buff, you will receive anywhere from 75B Tokens to 150B tokens with each Thieving attempt. This number does increase as you progress through the Skilling islands as well, so once you are able to access the Thieving chests at ::blood, you'll be making an increase in your hourly gains. This comes paired with some other skilling items such as Elder Bird Snares, Farming Seeds, Fish, etc. These are given at random, but seeds for example can sell for a small albeit decent penny in the POS. Keep them or use them, it's wholly up to you! To access the jungle thieving zone without using the command, you can left click the Thieving skill to bring you there. Four chests are spread over the island, and each corner houses one that can be looted a total of 250 times before you must find the next chest. Continuing to loot the now empty chest will result in you being struck for 50 damage, so keep an eye out! 8.1.2: Slayer. Slayer, in terms of money making, is all about RNG. You can either get really lucky, or get caught with absolutely nothing to show for it after spending time on it. A right gamble, but if it works out, you'll end up with a worthwhile sum that definitely makes it worth your while. Generally speaking the Easy & Medium tasks are the best to opt for, but you'll be wanting to save up for Hard & Elite rewards instead. The easiest way to do this is earn either 300 Slayer Points to purchase a Hard Slayer Key, or earn 500 Slayer Points for an Elite Slayer Key and then open the respective chest. The Elite variant houses some of the best possible loot to use/sell, but it also means completing either 20 Easy Slayer Tasks or 10 Medium Slayer Tasks for a singular key. For example, the Elite Chest can give you a Blood Staff, which roughly sells for 20Q in the POS and is a coveted item ingame for a few specific endgame purposes. The Hard chest, however, has mostly midgame to endgame tier items, but is better served to aid you in Progression than actually earning you money. For your best chance, just opt in for Elite Keys! 8.1.3: Voting. Voting, it can be done once or twice per day, depending on your availability and when you actively go and vote as well as redeem. Doing so however helps both the server, so thank you for that! - But it also grants you eight Vote Books & Vote Tickets. The former can be sold to the POS for 15T a piece, netting you a daily income of 120T minimum to 240T minimum if they are bought, which generally, they will be! Their use is limited for newcomers, but they are superbly useful for leveling Skilling and thus are well worth their price for such alone as they double experience gains. They can also give cosmetic items, but these aren't really worth anything. 8.1.4: World Bosses. World Bosses, they are just as much if not more RNG based than Slayer due to the fact the reward you obtain from participating is completely random. If you get lucky however, you may yield a Goku armor piece or pet as an example from, you guessed it, Goku. These are worth at least 1Q a piece generally speaking, if not more, so one lucky drop can yield more income than twenty slayer tasks, all because you chose to participate. Only one of the world bosses however is guaranteed to yield something worth your while, namely in the form of Pepe, the Vote Boss. Pepe will always drop either a Vote Box or a Vote Box (R), the latter housing a myriad of more coveted and expensive items. The normal Vote Box can also be sold on the POS for roughly 90T, should you not wish to open them yourself. Whilst the former isn't really worth it beyond wanting a decent armor set and Dragonballs, the latter especially is worth opening. Items such as an Elderbone Whip, Blood Staff and Hades Scythe are available, all the same as Vegeta armor and Goku armor as an example. Whilst the Vegeta armor isn't worth much, it can still be a decent starter set until you can obtain something better. The Elderbone Whip is currently the BiS 1-hand melee weapon, whilst the Blood Staff is a coveted item for endgame upgrades, even being able to be used on the Hades Scythe to turn it into a Blood Scythe (the Hades Scythe itself is not tradeable!). Moral of the story? Join in on these world bosses each time! Pepe is spawned after 150 votes (every player redeeming their votes counts as 8 votes!), Gogeta spawns on a timer and so does Goku. The latter two can be summoned as well however through their own respective sets of Dragonballs, but Goku is the one you'll be seeing more often. Keep an eye out! 8.1.5: Grinding, literally and figuratively. Yes, grinding for drops is a valuable and obvious tactic to work towards a sum of cash, but there's also an actual item grinder in the game which you can make use of with items that are worth more than 1T. For example the Goku world boss can drop Frenzy weapons, which sell for a small but worthwhile penny of 7-10T when you grind them up. -However-, do note that there's only a chance for you to be given it's worth in tokens as the item may also break. It's not recommended to grind items such as a Gem Katana which can sell for roughly 200T and is a great starter weapon that does not decay. If you do wish to make money off of it however, it's recommended to instead put it on the POS for said price and wait until it is bought. The Item Grinder mostly serves to get rid of items that aren't worthwhile to keep, so if it has lesser stats but is worth a decent penny on the Price Guide, then just chuck it into the grinder for some extra cash you didn't really have to do anything for. Trust me, it is a worthwhile investment of a few seconds. 9. Mob Aggression & Loot Drops. 9.1: Mob Aggression. There's only really three ways to have monsters automatically aggro you in Mage, one being a little more lucrative than the other. One of three ways, and likely the simplest, are Alligator Gars. These are an item acquired through Fishing and Cooking at a higher level or through being purchased from the Vote Store. They can also be bought from other players in the POS, mind you. The Gar will attract one enemy to attack you for it's duration of anywhere from four to seven minutes, thusly allowing you to semi-AFK zones, grinding them out, etc. These do not stack and will instead refresh the duration, so make sure you don't accidentally waste a Gar! The second way is to randomly be given the Defensive Stance buff from Voting. As players vote to support Mage and receive their rewards for doing so, you will randomly acquire buffs for a variable amount of time. These can range from offensive to defensive buffs, even an 'instant-kill' buff allowing you to one-shot an enemy (not bosses such as Goku, etc!) once. However, the Defensive Stance buff will serve the exact same purpose of the Alligator Gar above, attracting one enemy to you at a time for it's duration. There's really no set way to attain this buff, so when you receive it and you're active, it will just serve to help you out a little. Thirdly comes Aggro Pets. These are very, very expensive additions that come with their own respective buffs and are extremely coveted, which is wholly shown by their market price. They are not at all easy to come by, and only a few exist within the game at this point. Should you choose to invest in Mage, however, the Battlepass that can be bought for 60 USD in the Store will always yield a 1-mob aggro pet upon completion. Purely through in-game however, you'll be saving up for quite awhile in the hopes of acquiring one. 9.2: Loot Drops. Loot, loot and loot- We all love getting rare drops, but we all love not having to spend the time and effort collecting our valuable loot from the ground, lest we forget to pick it up and have it snatched from underneath us. To this end the Drop Catcher exists, a relatively cheap item that can be upgraded thrice into the Upgraded variant, which solely houses more options in terms of Quality of Life. They go for around 100T for a base Drop Catcher, and are essential for anyone looking to just kick back and relax. They do not work however on World Bosses, so make sure you pick up your loot there! As you can readily imagine, the Drop Catcher must be kept in your inventory and can be operated to shift through the options, depending on what level it is. From being able to have all drops go to your bank, sending them all to your inventory or sending only one or the other to the bank and the rest to your inventory, you yourself can dictate just how you'd like it best. If you are an Ironman however, it is recommended to participate in World Bosses such as Pepe for his Vote Boxes, as these can yield a Drop Catcher. So too does the Easy Slayer Chest offer a shot at one, whilst you can also save up to purchase one with Vote Points or Donor Points in their respective shops. Don't fret, these Donor Points are earned through Zone Completions ingame! One way or another, you'll always be able to obtain one of these and make your life in Mage just that much easier and relaxing. 10. Character Progression. The most important sign of a good server is to have a clear, steady progression system, and I'm sure you'll come to appreciate the way it is set-up here in Mage! From your very first few steps into this custom world to the very end where you'll be swinging around a Crystal Scythe or a Tiger King's Bow if not a Final Power Sniper wearing either Goku, Tiger Fury or Jiren armor and building up to Gogeta pieces. Each and every step carries with it ways to improve the strength of your character, and it sure isn't given to you instantaneously. You'll be doing plenty of saving up, grinding and tasks all over, working your way through Zones and earned ranks, rewards and more for doing so, and by the end, you'll be able to look forward to new updates that are always in the works at the skilled hands of the Owner and his staff. A solid Discord community also permits bugs to be reported, announcements to be made and even giveaways to be hosted at random, so it's absolutely worth checking in with. For the meat of your progression however, it all solely depends on how you yourself wish to progress throughout Mage. Did you wish to stick to Melee, mayhap Magic instead? Or even Range? All three aspects are wholly covered in Mage, one serving superbly well at any given stage of the game. Melee for example is the easiest to get started with, whilst Magic is a carefree way to trot along until you get an AoE staff. Range however tends to lean unto Endgame more, requiring good armor and weaponry to really make a dent, but they are all equally as fun. Personally, I'd recommend sticking to Melee until you get acquainted with Mage and know what to aim for, and to that end you may wish to invest a little in the early game to get yourself a half decent set if you aren't playing as an Ironman or as an Elite. The Rage & Vegeta sets are great beginner sets, albeit the former is just a margin more expensive but does yield a fun game of chance in it's effect whereas the Vegeta set just offers a base 10% damage boost. For mages and Rangers, I may have to recommend the Ethereal and the Rangers set respectively. These can both be acquired quite early on and will be a good starting point, allowing you to progress into the Evil set and the Stormtroopers attire a little while after. Weapon wise I'd aim, early on at least, for a Gem Katana or an Omega Katana, mayhap even a Blood Edge Sword for Melee, an Evil Staff for Mages and a Rangers Bow for Rangers. From here on out you can work towards an Elderbone Whip for Melee, a Trident of the Seas for Mages and a Lasergun from the Star Wars minigame for Rangers. These are all worthwhile items that'll hold you over for awhile, so keep an eye out for them or save up for them and grab them when you can. 11. Other Useful Tidbits & Immensely Helpful Guides. 11.1: Tidbits. ━ World Boss teleport commands boil down to ::Goku, ::Gogeta and ::Pepe. The arrival of these bosses is also mentioned in the chat automatically. ━ A list of staff can be found in the bottom right of your client, namely the Question Mark. This also allows you to call for help. ━ The max droprate you can have is 275%, this is with or without the Turtle buff. ━ Updates may change some aspects of this guide or progression. Take this only as a guideline! ━ The ::rules are extremely important. Adhere to them! ━ ::npckills allows you to see your total amount of kills, whilst ::npckills Diablo for example will show you specifically how many of that specific boss you have killed. ━ Make use of the clan chat for any ingame questions you have!
